By analizing the topic of the attack against corruption in the years 2018/2019 and the role of the studied media, we notice the need to start an contextualization about the subject of corruption in Guatemala, anuated to the interversion of the Comisión Internacional Contra la Impunidad (CICIG); The correlation between the public opinion and the political opinion; The importance of finding the nexus between the media, the democracy, the agenda setting, as well as the public opinion and public politics. We analyze briefly the actuate of CICIG, which went from an instance of international bureaucracy to a body in incharge of attacking corruption,identifying the profile of every single media in analysis, which were key in this joint. We perform an analysis of the content that the media wrote throughout the buildt week in specific months of the years in question, the fact that it included a lecture of the caricatures, complementing the realization of interviews with experts, We come to the conclusion with an analysis of the information obtained through this methodology.
