Norma i variació sintàctiques a la gramàtica de la llengua catalana de l'Institut d'Estudis Catalans (2016)

Resumen

This thesis seeks to analyse the role of linguistic variation when establishing the norm in the Gramàtica de la llengua catalana (Grammar of the Catalan Language), published by the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (2016). On chapter one, we present the research, the aims, and the hypothesis. On chapter two, we establish the theoretical framework, based on the concepts of standard language, normative language, codification, grammaticography, norm and normative discourse, and the methodology. On chapter three, we present the background. On chapters four, five and six, the corpus statements are analysed according to the different types of variation (dialectal variation, functional variation, and the combination of both). On chapter seven, we present the conclusions. Finally, we add three annexes
