Resum

This study addresses the importance of executive functions and creativity in child development. Executive functions facilitate the acquisition of higher cognitive functions and academic skills, while creativity is linked with adaptation, learning, and academic performance. With the aim of designing an intervention program in executive functions and creativity for the school stage of 3 to 6 years, a theoretical review and an empirical analysis are carried out in two samples of the child population, one of 30 students and another of 211, using the BRIEF-P questionnaires (Gioia et al., 2016) and the creativity scale for preschool students (Tuttle, 1980). The program, validated by a panel of 9 experts through the Delphi technique, is structured in three areas: students, teachers, and families, and is based on 4 fundamental areas: play, mindfulness, reflection, and metacognition.
