Zusammenfassung

In this paper it’s argued that the zombies have become the prototypical monster of the capitalism advanced ages. The zombie movies have explored many of the core issues of the late twentieth and early twenty-first century, with the living dead as a metaphor of the citizens inside the capitalism. Especially George A. Romero has shown the emblematic character of the living dead.
