Zusammenfassung

In this work, doubly extended codes are generalized to any metric and to any initial code to be extended. In particular, doubly extended maximum sum-rank distance (MSRD) codes are obtained from several families of known MSRD codes. These resultsgeneralize classical doubly extended Reed-Solomon codes for the Hamming metric and the recent doubly extended linearized Reed-Solomon codes for the sum-rank metric.
