Gestión sostenible de los recursos humanos y resiliencia empresarial en el contexto pandémico

Resumen

A medida que en los últimos años ha aumentado la atención que se concede a los enfoques de compromiso con la sostenibilidad en el mundo de los negocios, se incrementa también el interés por la integración de la sostenibilidad en el área de los recursos humanos, así como por las cuestiones relacionadas específicamente con la gestión sostenible de los recursos humanos. El presente trabajo pretende analizar si las prácticas corporativas en sostenibilidad de recursos humanos han influido en la capacidad de resiliencia organizacional durante la etapa de la crisis pandémica de la COVID-19. Al objeto de llevar a cabo este estudio, hemos seleccionado una amplia muestra de empresas españolas, con datos disponibles que hacen referencia a proyecciones de puntuaciones en sostenibilidad, que han sido proporcionados por una agencia de calificación especializada y que miden once dimensiones distintas relacionadas con prácticas de sostenibilidad en el área de recursos humanos. Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que determinadas iniciativas en gestión sostenible de recursos humanos pueden haber tenido un efecto amortiguador del impacto del contexto pandémico sobre las empresas que las han implantado, particularmente en lo referido a contener los niveles excesivos de endeudamiento.
